30404Joshua Perry has been chosen as the January senior of the month. Josh exemplifies “Blues Spirit and Pride.” He is an incredible athlete! Throughout his high school career, he has been involved in sports. He plays football, basketball and baseball. He is always excited about the games! He asks teachers and students on game days if they will be at the game. He wants to be sure that as many people as possible are present to cheer on the Blues.
Josh is respected by faculty, teachers and classmates. He is a leader and great role-model for many students. Following the games at school, Josh delivers devotions. He keeps the team connected athletically and spiritually!

Josh has a deep commitment to his faith and a strong sense of family. Josh has strong relations with the young group at First Pentecostal Holiness church. He participates fully in the church and remains active with the youth group. Josh also participates in numerous extracurricular activities. He does well balancing his academics and other activities. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Relay for Life team and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This past summer he was also a part of “Renew the Blue!”

Josh plans to attend Liberty University in the fall. He hopes to pursue a degree in Education or Counseling.
