Jennifer Ann Brotherson has been chosen as Parry McCluer High School’s Senior of the Month for June 2014. She is the daughter of Todd and Carrie Brotherson of Buena Vista. Jennifer has two sisters, Jessica and Grace.

Jennifer is an active member of the PMHS soccer team.  She has played four years and has been a captain two years.  She has been a member of National Honor Society for three years and served as a mentor/guide for the 8th Grade Transition Program each year. In addition to taking college and AP classes, she has worked at Sweet Frog for almost a year and loves it. When she is not scheduled to work, Jennifer stays at PMHS and helps in a Biology class.  Jennifer says she loves learning and interacting with other students.

Jennifer is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has attended early-morning seminary for the past four years. Jennifer says she loves starting the day at 6:40 because it sets a positive tone for her day. She is active in her church Youth Group and enjoys playing the piano.

Jennifer is highly respected by the administration, faculty, coaches and students of Parry McCluer High School. Ms.KristaCastrodale states, “Jennifer is always a positive light in class, demonstrating respect for herself, her peers and teachers. Her optimism, hard work and commitment to goals make her a role model to all.”  After high school, Jennifer plans to attend SVU. Her academic interests include chemistry, biology, health/wellness/nutrition and art. Jennifer would like to serve on a mission for her church after attending SVU.
