A Message of From the Superintendent:
A new school year provides us with a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students. We are extremely fortunate to live in Buena Vista, a community that values education. As we begin our school year, please know that it takes exceptional staff, informed parents and involved community members to create the best possible environment for learning.
My commitment to you is that this school division will continue to strive to provide the best education possible so that our children will be inspired to learn and to understand their potential. The students of Buena Vista City Public Schools are our future. They must become skillful and thoughtful citizens who are equipped to play central roles in our community and our nation. Student achievement is our highest priority and we will align resources to ensure success for every student.
Our faculty and staff are highly qualified and dedicated to serving our student population. We are also fortunate to have a supportive and involved parent community.
I wish you the most enjoyable and successful school year yet as our students learn, achieve and grow. Thank you for allowing Buena Vista City Public Schools to provide your child’s educational needs.
